Murfreesboro’s office Director, Lorrie Riley said one her ten best moments was celebrating Grandma Ernestine’s 90th birthday. As you can see by Lorrie’s smile in this photo and the glow on her grandmother’s face, love surrounded the celebration. Lorrie exclaimed she was blessed to be there with Miss Ernestine to honor her life. Happy Birthday indeed!

Murfreesboro office’s days don’t stop when the sun goes down or when the weekend begins. The  Murfreesboro staff can be found helping in the community in a variety of ways. During the recent “Walk to End Alzheimers Disease,” Director, Lorrie Riley and Scheduling Coordinator, Jennifer Lacuniak along with Murfreesboro caregivers and their families,  were out on the city street to make a difference in the Alzheimers movement.  We were thrilled to be part of such a meaningful event.

In addition, Murfreesboro caregivers are headed towards Dementia certification. We have been named an official “Alzheimer’s Early Detection Alliance (AEDA).” In their words, ”We commend you and your organization for supporting the Alzheimer’s Association and your choice to actively increase awareness about Alzheimer’s disease; the importance of early detection and the 10 warning signs.”  Lorrie Riley Director of our Murfreesboro office is happy to discuss this new program as well as the warning signs of early dementia with you. Family Staffing Solutions, Inc. is listed as a “Champion” on the AEDA website. We are proud to be working for our clients and families this way.

We are so blessed to have outstanding caregivers working tirelessly for us. They are all special and we applaud each one of them for their kindnesses and for making our clients’ lives more meaningful by their care. Each month we announce and celebrate the “Caregiver of the Month.” This award gives us an opportunity to thank and appreciate these terrific employees.  We would like to introduce the caregivers selected for this honor and tell you about the recipient of the Murfreesboro, Caregiver of the Year, Miss Rita Bates.

Murfreesboro’s Ms. Rita Bates was chosen as 2011′s Caregiver of the Year. “With all the special caregivers we have, said Director, Lorrie Riley, ” It was difficult  to choose just one as the Caregiver of the Year.”

But Rita Bates really stands out. It is not her Hot Water Cornbread although everyone who tasted this recipe has been an immediate fan of its one-of-a-kind taste. Rita is a kind and skillful caregiver. She is loved by everyone she meets including the office staff.  More than one of our clients have contacted us to exclaim, “Rita Bates is an angel!” We are blessed to have her working with us and look forward to many more years of her professional service to the Family Staffing Solutions, Inc. ‘s community here.
