Meet the Nashville Team
Amy Lyles Wilson joins Family Staffing Solutions as Director of Nashville after 25 years of experience in communications and nonprofit development. The author of several books and founder of Pilgrim Writers, Amy received her bachelor’s degree in English from Millsaps College, a master’s degree in journalism from the University of Mississippi, and a master’s degree in theological studies from Vanderbilt University Divinity School. In addition, she has extensive training and experience in pastoral care and volunteer management. She is a certified spiritual director through the Haden Institute and an affiliate of Amherst Writers and Artists. Amy fell in love with caregiving while tending her mother at the end of her life and is delighted to be helping people get the support they need through Family Staffing Solutions.
The Nashville staff is always ready to meet with clients, make home visits, supervise new employees, speak with the clients or a member of their family. “We are never too busy to spend time with you and introduce your family to our personalized care.”
“Being able to change lives and make a difference for others is the reason our employees say they choose to work with Family Staffing Solutions. Every day is an opportunity to meet and assist new families in our community.”
Dee Dee began her career with Family Staffing Solutions in 2015 as a Caregiver. In December of 2016, Dee Dee became the Assistant Director of the Nashville office.
Dee Dee attended Middle Tennessee State University in 1988 where she studied Elementary Education. During a temporary favor to help a friend, Dee Dee determined that she had a passion for caring for the elderly. Prior to joining our team, Dee Dee had five years previous caregiving experience and possesses strong operational and customer service experience from managing an Insurance business with her husband.
Jerilyn Cain brings 13 years of Caregiving experience to the Nashville team. Joining Family Staffing Solutions as a Caregiver in January of 2015, she became a Scheduler in June the same year. With Jerilyn’s dedicated experience in Caregiving and strong skills in Scheduling, she is the perfect fit to manage the responsibilities of Caregiver Services.
Carey Haslam joined the Family Staffing Solutions team in June, 2015. After 6 months as a Caregiver, Carey accepted the position of Scheduler. Carey’s experience in caring for our clients coupled with her previous business experience and ability to assess the scheduling needs of the client have proven effective in her position.
We invest time in hiring caregivers and they are very special. We applaud each one of them for making our clients’ lives more meaningful with their care. We have a team of loyal and dedicated Caregivers. Each month we announce and celebrate the “Caregiver of the Month” and Recognize our Caregivers’ Years of Service with Family Staffing Solutions. Our Caregiver Recognition is another opportunity to thank and appreciate our caregivers.
2016 Caregiver of the Year!

Bits and Pieces
Emergency Preparedness Initiative
The Nashville office team is always thinking of ways to create new service opportunities for our clients and caregivers. Here is just one example. After the last storms, we created the staff an Emergency Preparedness Kit. Our staff considered the possibilities of potential challenges posed after an extreme weather condition and what kind of medical and other supplies would be important to have on-hand. The results are an easily portable emergency medical bag. We are happy to share this idea with you as well as be there if we can help in an emergency situation.
Alzheimer’s Early Detection Alliance Resource
Family Staffing Solutions has joined the “Alzheimer’s Early Detection Alliance” (AEDA). We have been named an official AEDA champion and you can find a link to our offices on their webpage, www.alz.org/AEDA.
The national AEDA organization said, “We commend you and your organization for supporting the Alzheimer’s Association and your choice to actively increase awareness about Alzheimer’s disease; the importance of early detection and the 10 warning signs.”
