Evelyn Coffey-Methvin was born and raised in Shelbyville. Hardly a day goes by without her speaking with her siblings and she rarely misses a chance to spend time in their company. That love of family and caring nature is what led Evelyn to her work with Family Staffing Solutions, Inc.  Evelyn said she is blessed to have her siblings nearby.

The staff at the Shelbyville office is working for our clients 24 hours a day and up to seven days a week. Shelbyville native, Evelyn Coffey-Methvin, Family Staffing Solutions, Inc.. Shelbyville’s Office Director pictured here at left.  stays busy meeting with new clients, working with caregivers and moving about the community, answering inquirys as to how we can improve the lives of loved ones by “being there when you cannot.”

The Shelbyville office is blessed to have Deedra Burk, pictured above, in our office. She wears many hats, is committed to our mission and is wonderful all-around. Please feel welcome to give a call to the office or stop in and say, “Hello.” Both Evelyn and Deedre are happy to answer any question about what we do and why we are an excellent choice to provide personal care assistance for your loved ones.

Shelbyville Times-Gazette Article

On January 27, 2012 the Shelbyville Times-Gazette published an article regarding Senior Citizens “planning for the future,” noting that, “…many adult children today find themselves having to plan futures for their aging parents.” The article went on to focus on Family Staffing Solutions, Inc. and what differentiates our company from others in the community. Recommendations are coming from physicians, senior centers, nursing homes, hospitals, client referrals, civic groups and others who are aware of Family Staffing Solutions, Inc. in Shelbyville and why we do what we do. The newspaper had wonderful quotes from former and present clients and it is well worth reading.

The Shelbyville office is out in the community.

Evelyn has been active in the Shelbyville Rotary Club and Women’s Club. She is often found making a speech to different community organization and businesses.

She has also worked with the local Shelbyville Times-Gazette  Newspaper providing expert advice and information on subjects realated to aging and the “Grown-olders” we have in our families. A couple of the articles are excerpted here.
